SEO writing is to write a piece of content for people and optimizing it for search engines. Optimizing your article for search engines and having a wonderful reading experience isn’t too hard as many people think, amateurs and any tech-savvy can do that without paying any pennies to content writers or SEO copywriters, it is a matter of following the basic rules of Google algorithm and put yourself in the reader’s shoes.
People write their query using Google or Bing search bar to find an answer to their inquiry or a challenge they are facing, and simply, they want to find an effective and immediate response at a touch of a button. Google or any search engine objective is to bring the optimum solution to their searchers or users in less than one single second just to have an amazing user experience.
Create an effective blog:
Blogs play a major role in the marketing realm, writing a winning blog isn’t an option anymore for us as the race continues, you need to start blogging to grow your business, once your idea is in your head, let it stew, create an outline, conducting research, and checking facts. Crafting a catchy headline that both captures internet user’s attention and informative.
Write comprehensive content without adding fluffy words:
Wordy sentences can make your article a bit vague, having a complex structure makes it difficult for your audience to follow your ideas, readers may leave your website as they are tired of understanding your content, Nowadays, internet users are no longer read webpages, they skim and scan to find answers to their inquiry, and they lose attention so fast, if you don’t get attention from your first or second sentence, You may consider also add multiple industry keywords to ensure your comprehensive content can consistently drive traffic through search. That is known as long-tail keywords which include and targeting secondary search terms.
Optimize your piece of content Click-through-rate (CTR):
Users are always curious and big fans of numbers. Such as a blog called “The 17 most important tips for SEO” or as what I simply did here by writing a blog title “3 amazing steps to optimize your article for SEO”.
Know your audience:
It is very crucial to study your customers’ personas, identify their priorities, know their purchase behavior, conduct surveys and witness their external habits, that will help you figure out what content and messages people want
A meta description is a great asset for you to boost your Click-through-rate (CTR). However, it didn’t impact your Google rankings directly.
Keywords appear in your: URL, title tag, first 100 words of your page, H 1 tag, and H 2 tag.
Use Google Keywords Planner: a free tool to choose the right keyword with a substantial monthly search volume that matters to your audience.
Follow best practices for on-page SEO: such as fix on-site issues, page load, page speed and clean up your site’s code.
Test your article: A/B testing your content can let you know what works and what does not, changing minor things in your blog can lead to a drastic change to your audience such as changing your call-to-action spot, have a clear introduction, use headers, and write in plain language.
